Stout Ranch Rodeo Mutton Busting Rules & Entry

The 2024 Stout Ranch Rodeo includes Mutton Busting on April 12th & 13th. The rodeo starts at 7 PM, with Mutton Buster contestants meeting before the rodeo at 6:30. See rules below:
Age: 7 years old and younger. (Must weigh under 60 lbs)
Helmets and protective vests will be provided.
15 sheep/contestants per night for a judged, 6-second ride.
A champion belt buckle will be awarded to the winner of each performance.
Entry fee: $20 per rider
ALL kids and one accompanying adult will get free admission into their rodeo performance.
Entry Process:
Submit an online entry via the forms linked below. A submitted entry does not guarantee a spot* in the rodeo. Legal guardians will be notified if the contestant is in the rodeo by Wednesday, April 10th. Entry fees and release waivers are required upon entry approval. BOOKS ARE CLOSED.
*Children of contestants and sponsors will have priority.
